A little-known fact about me is that I have a goal of getting to all fifty states in my life.
But, I never intended to have such an ambition.
Truthfully, it took me making a list (and checking it twice) to realize I was already in the 20s a few years ago.
Due to being more on the eastern side of the U.S.—although it’s called the Midwest, but I digress— those smaller states on this side of the Atlantic make it super easy to check off a ton without venturing all that far.
"Over halfway,” I thought. “Why not go for it? Get the fifty.”
I’m proud to say I am now at 48.
